Jesus is the Light in the Dark

During our series “Finding Light in the Dark,” our hope is that all who join us would experience increasing amounts of hope, peace, joy, and love. This is a time where calendars can fill up, families gather, and gifts are exchanged. While this can be a happy time, we also know for many, this season can be incredibly difficult. This series will point us to Jesus, who is the light of the world who brings us hope, provides us with peace, fills us with joy, and is the one who shows us what real love us. Come and join us this Christmas!

First Nazarene has partnered with this organization for nearly 20 years. By The Hand serves over 1700 students in Chicago neighborhoods.

A Christmas Gift – By The Hand provides a Christmas gift for each student they serve. Gifts are age specific with a $25 maximum cost.

This organization focuses on feeding the hungry in Chicago. We have partnered in multiple ways over the years. One of the greatest needs this time of year is coats for adults.

If you wish to donate a clean, gently used or new coat, please bring it to First Nazarene by Sunday, Dec. 11 and place in Feed, Clothe & Help box in the Lobby
