Our Philosophy
Nazarene Recreation exists to help families win on the field, in the classroom, and on the stage. Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or learning to love one, this is a place where kids are encouraged and friendships are made.
We’ve been serving families in Lemont and the surrounding communities for over 50 years.
What We Offer
Sports Leagues
Soccer, basketball, T-ball, floor hockey, and more for ages 3–12. Non-competitive and semi-competitive options available.
Dance & Cheer
Looking for a fun, low-pressure way for your child to try dance? Our dance program offers beginner-level instruction in dance, poms, and ballet in an encouraging environment.
Gymnastics
Our gymnastics program is a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to basic gymnastics skills. We focus on helping kids build coordination and confidence, through simple tumbling and mat activities.
Art Classes
Crayola Imagine Arts Academy. Hands-on creative projects.
Mini & Me
Parents and little ones (ages 1½–3) play sports together. Basketball, soccer, volleyball, and gymnastics.
Summer Day Camp
A full week of sports, games, and fun for ages 3-10 years old. Sign up for the entire 8 weeks, or individual weeks.

Naz Rec wouldn’t exist without volunteer coaches.
Every session, family members and friends step up to lead a team, teach a skill, and help kids learn to love a sport.
We do our best to make coaching enjoyable. Every coach gets a packet with weekly drills and ideas, a free plaque with a team photo, and a free buddy shot with their child during picture week.

FAQ
What ages do you serve?
Our All-Star Sports program serves ages 3–12 and is non-competitive. Rising Star Sports serves ages 7–10 and is semi-competitive.
How do I sign up?
Head to NazRec.com to browse programs and register.
What does a typical session look like?
Two teams share a court or field. They spend the first half running through drills and practicing, and the second half playing a game. At the end of each session, we celebrate with themed awards ceremonies where athletes receive a trophy or medal.
Does my child need experience?
Your child doesn’t need any experience. Our sessions run 7–8 weeks, which gives kids plenty of time to simply try a sport and see if they love it.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the session length and when you register. Early registration runs $79–$89, regular is $85–$95, and late registration is $89–$99.
